View Full Version : Session Timeout

Dang. I had to go into another window for fifteen minutes or so, and the forum logged me out, so I lost all my "new posts" and don't know what I have to read, anymore.
Is there any way to change the idle timeout to longer? Or never? :) Can I do this in my settings, perhaps?
I moved it to 30 minutes. There is no option for an indefinite period.
If this happens again, you should be able to hit your "Back" button, copy the post and paste it into a new post. That is what I have done when it happened to me.
Not a big help, but you can alt-tab over to the browser every so often and hit the refresh button or key (F5 generally) to keep the session alive.

If you lost the "new posts" listing, go to the toolbar, "Quick Links" tab and select "Todays Posts" and it will give you all of the current post threads in chrono order.

I just really need to remember to check that "Remember Me" box. That solves all my problems. :D
