I've been looking high and low for a source for these blades, and still no luck. Anyone have any tips?

That's the guy everybody cites as having E-neps for sale, however, I have never been successful in even spotting one of these elusive beasts:o
Your best bet may be to contact that guy who goes by the name of Santi on those blade type forums, he may be able to get you in touch with a master smith.
Here's some other links to peruse:

Thanks for the tips. These things are elusive; the harder I have to work to find them, the more I want them:rolleyes:

David Farmer makes a serious E-nep too...

I got mine from Santi (http://www.knifeforums.com/forums/showuser.php?uid/4674/) over at KF. Its a beauty. One of Santi's posts (http://www.knifeforums.com/forums/showtopic.php?tid/799540/) on it. I love the wicker sheath that he has with the one in the post.
I did get another one more recently off of Ebay. Dirt cbeap too. Its neat, still hand forged, but nowhere near as nice as the one I got from Santi. The new one was pretty soft too.
Santi gets them from a village blacksmith. The guy does top notch work. Very well made and good heat treat it seems. Not cheap though. I paid $125 or so maybe 5 years ago. More recently I talked to Santi and prices were up based on demand and exchange rates.

Man those are some nice examples. I think I'll be PMing him pretty soon.

Top ones are what I got off of Ebay. Neat, but not as nicely finished as the lower one, and a bit soft. Lower three pics are the one I got through Santi.
