My email notifications have definitely stopped today.
It started happening about 10 am, MDT. None of the new posts in my subscribed threads are being sent.
Any idea what might be up with that?

Are they getting sent your spam/junk folder?? After the last server upgrade I had to add the notification email to my contact list so mine would show up.

First thing I checked. "forums@bushcraftusa.com" has always been in my White List. This just started happening this morning. I didn't get notice of yours, or Backwoods posts here, either.

What about PM notifications? I had one arrive this morning just fine, if that helps.

I got them also. Right up until about 10 am my time. I was getting everything as normal, until then.

Well, still no notices. EnglishManInOntario didn't get a PM notice, either.
Is anyone else having problems?

The last one I got was around 12.05 EST. It was from Faol too, so he must have broken it ;)

We moved boxes today, which is working fine. The DNS has to be updated...about 10 am today. Now we just need the internet to catch up with us, and that email will start working again. It could take as long as 24 hours.

Thanks.

Notifications are still not making it to my ISP yet. Hopefully, the propagation won't take much longer.

So am I supposed to get an email for any activity in a thread that I post in? In other words, to subscribe to a thread do you just need to post in it?

Check your "User CP" (Control Panel), and select the type of notification you want to receive under Edit Options > Default Thread Subscription Mode.

If you are not receiving notifications, it is being worked on. It only seems to be for a half-dozen ISPs.

Thanks.

I ain't getting any either .. Stupid DNS Servers .. heh!
"Maybe" we will get a whole bunch at once, once the propagation completes .. wheeeeeee......

Guy

The propagation is completed. I am getting the notifications bounced back to me, so I am not sure if you will have any once it gets worked out.

They don't appear to be held in que anywhere. I changed my email address, and started getting ones for this thread. All the "old" notices just went away, or ended up in Faol's lap, with the bounce-backs!

It may be handled now. Please give it a check and see if it works for you.

Thanks.

I'm going to give this a try with my Gmail mail account to see if I get a notice. Then I'll go through the process with my ISP mail account and see what happens.

Well, using Gmail works. My ISPs mail server won't even deliver my "change of email verification" message. Computers are retarded!!!

LOL .. Yeah - That they are.

Oh Well .. This whole "Internet Thang" is just a fad .. It'll never catch on .. heh!

Nope. The system wouldn't even let me change my email address back to the original. It said the email verification notice was sent, but I never received it.

The dam burst! I woke up to 48 emails this morning that all started being sent at 4:00 am this morning! Now I just have to get my old address re-registered here!
Thanks for all the effort, Faol!

What's interesting is that I'm not getting email status updates from UPS on a package that's in transit, either. I'm going to have some pertinent questions for my ISP representative at their annual meeting this morning! :D
