In my quest to do something about my woefully inadequate first aid situation, I went by wally world to load up on some first aid supplies. Now, I've been laboring over a pouch for some time, drooling over a Maxpedition FR-1 or something of that nature, to go in my ALICE pocket, but really not wanting to spend that kind of coin. Well, I found these guys in a drive by in the hunting section...$5.00. They almost had to call for a wetmop clean-up in aisle 5. Bought two (one for the truck)...don't get me wrong, they aren't going to take a direct hit by an RPG, like a $40 tac-pouch, but the only heavy action I plan on seeing is watching a Bears-Packers game in a Sheboygan tavern, so these will work just dandy! Still working on loading them, but they will hold what I need. Just a heads up, boys! (and girls!) Take care! GO BEARS!

Thanks, now you got me thinking...
"Oh, I can use that pouch! On what I dunno. But I can use that pouch! LOL

I posted about those pouches a while back. I use it for my car EDC. Seems that a lot of Wal-Mart stores don't dont carry them though. I got one of those bags and also for $5 I picked up the small shoulder bag and attached the first one to it.

Just found your post, Grizz. Yeah, they're a pretty good little deal.

I recently picked one of those (in full camo) up at our local Walmart for $5. and found another that was camo and pink (also $5.) that the wife carries attachted to her oxygen cart.

They're a pretty nifty little pack, especially for five bucks! ;)

Very cool. It's great to see someone make do with what they can afford/find. I hate seeing people spend more than they can afford just to "keep up with the Jones'"

Great find!

That is awesome! I was just sweating the cost of maxpedition gear, its not feasible for my budget, but this looks like it could fill that void. If only I could find some in black :)

Good find. Try the dollar stores to fill it with bandages as there used once :) and cheap meds. and disposables. Save the money for good quality tools to fill it.

Not a bad looking pouch. I will have to take a look there tomorrow.

I've seen these in my wally world, I almost bought a couple of them but didn't know for what so I didn't buy them. Now you've given me an idea. Even if it just to organize stuff in my pack. Thanks.

I picked up the same pouch and a small shoulder/binocular bag for $7. You're right that they aren't bombproof, but I was impressed by the quality at the price. I got my son a camo pack for $10 from the same line. Tough to beat at the price.

I have a couple pouches like that. When i was overseas, they came as uso hygeine kits. When i went on leave, I snagged like 6 of them. They aren't as organized as yours, but work well for whatever!

I'm glad others think the same way I do! I use one similar to that. Same brand, just a little different layout. Found it the same place, too.

After a quick search, the only place I found them wanted 12-13 bucks each. If you don't have any luck, pm me and I can mail some to you...providing they are still in stock.

I may be able to do the same. I think my local store just re-stocked.

Not in my store or on the website. Looks neat though.
