I thought id share my recent trip to Eire.

I have family in Co Clare so i try to get over as many times as i can, this year i have made 3 visits and should be going over again in December.

Belive it or not it takes less time for me to travel to Ireland than it does to travel to London and its cheaper,it cost me 30.00 for me and my wife.

the first set of picture where taken on my uncles land,he owns 186 acres which makes for a great play ground.

You know you're in the country when a donkey wakes you up instead of an alarm clock.

Beautiful! I flew into Shannon on my way home from Iraq. The plane needed repairs, so we stayed around the airport FOREVER. Looking outside, everything was so green and quite a contrast to the desert. Thanks for the pics, but stop shooting the donkeys! :-)

We stopped in Rome to refuel, and they wouldn't even let us off of the plane. We sat in the middle of the tarmac and they ferried fuel to us.

I want a refund...or a free trip to Ireland.

Ive just uploaded these picture from Bunratty folk park in Ireland, all the building are original.

This picture is of a traditional Irish kitchen, you can see peat burning in the fire, the smell of the peat reminds me of my summers spent in Ireland with my Grandad and great aunt.

My Mom went to a school just like this and rode a bike like the ones pictured.

GREAT pics, Sticks! I love that kind of stuff. Makes me long for living a simpler life with just the basics.

When I was in Ireland the first time, I saw folks cutting out blocks of peat to use as fuel, but at first I couldn't figure out what the heck they were doing!

You must be an undercover agent for the Irish Department of Tourism secretly planting enticing photos on unsuspecting websites to create a desire in world travelers to visit your land and spend lots of money while there. If so, be advised, it's working.
