View Full Version : A do-not-reply board section for a "What I did today"/"Diary" topic?

How about the addition of a section where each user that wants to participate can do a post of what they've been up to, sort of like a blog, except forum-side so it appears in forum searches.

Probably best to be a section that doesn't add to post count, so it doesn't get abused for 1UP'pers. Doesn't need replies, Thanks will be fine and keep it clutter free.

(Or is there already a proper section for such a thing and I've missed it?)

I have a thread I made and call it my outings journal. I update it with pics and videos when I get out.

That's kind-of-sort-of the idea I was going for but I was thinking more along the lines of one topic for myself in which nobody else posts, like a blog, that I can post and update my doings, and other people can read.
Other members do the same, except no outside posts, and posts don't count towards total post count. My only link to the internet is this cell phone; and it gets pretty iffy at times.

Not that this is a great idea, but it's not terrible anyways.
