so it's really cool, Joe...but I think Scout would call it a "throwing stick maker" :)

congrats on your new stuff - and some time to get out and enjoy it.

Good review, brother. I like the blade shape on that bolo and the zebra pot is a good idea.

I love a machete . One other thing I've been doing with mine is sticking it in a log turning it upside down and then drawing arrow shafts across the blade in its stationary position . Might work for feather sticks too .
That dog is a great companion . Definitely a participator

Told you those original handles were fat (not to be confused with PHAT). They are solid though, so shaping the with dremel works well. Use the little sandpaper pieces (they look like TP rolls with grit on them) and fit over the insert with a round rubber like drum piece. It 'll peel the rubber fast. The stones don't work so good on that handle.

P.S. now you can make a thousand handholds like I do cause I lose them so often. My latest handhold that Joe saw is the last ditch top piece. Its a divot carved into a Magbar, so when I fail on the drill, I can spark it with the little ferro rod. Actually that drilled out magnesium is slick as crazy and works very nicely.

ya, I think the small zebra setup is cool as well, I kept saying it held a sterno stove as well, but I meant crusader cooker.

Sweet machete. I have a question, or questions. What size Nalgene bottle is that? I know the Max bag is 12x5. Nice that it fits in there with the Zebra pot. How tall is the Zebra pot?

The nalgene is a 1 litre...not sure how tall the zebra is, it's the 10cm one

I've got a 10 and I like it, but it's kinda small. Barely bigger than my nesting cup. If it had side handles it would make a great mug.

I see a bigger one in my future.

ya, I've had the 12 for a really long time, I figured I would use the 10 just like you said, more as a cup.

Thanks Joe. Could you see if the 12, and nalgene both fit as well? Thanks.

Warrior, no go on the 12" fitting, it's a very very tight squeeze to get it in even a little bit, there is no way I would want to try and take that in and out of the maxped pouch.

Huh, maybe the specs I posted were wrong on the 12 then. Says 4.7" diameter, I thought the Max bag was 5.

Wonder if the 12cm would fit in my Belgian gas mask bag? http://www.bushcraftusa.com/forum/showthread.php?p=817425#post817425

I was wondering when someone was gonna mention that lol.

It is thick J, I'm not sure if it's thicker than other Condors, i really like it though.
