View Full Version : Old hoof knife needs new home

I posted a bit back that I picked up a Mora hoof knife. I started cleaning it up, but it's going to take a lot more work than I have time to put into it right now...so it needs a new home.

Dunno how I should dispurse it, so I'm guessing a truncated giveaway for it. It's not worth much and I'm into it a whole 50 cents. So if you want it, post up and I'll pick a post in a week or so-ish. US and Canada please guys...you folks overseas have access to better junk than this thing!

Please understand this thing is rough.

Thanks all.

Thats what I'm seeing too, I just have neither the time nor tools to clean the edge up correctly so I decided to stop before I ruined it!

I just cleaned off the rust with 400 grit and a diamond rod by hand.

GB, I see 16 i'm in posts and only two "thanks You's" in the OP. That's sad, I'm not in , but thank you for the give away. Todd

Ditto on the thanks brother, I'm in also.

I love restoring those vintage tools, I have a real nice piece of deer horn that would look great on that blade.

Again, thanks for the chance to get in on the offer.

I think I very small part of it is Tapatalk, I'm sure there are quite a few of us using it and you can't thank people(that's why I haven't thanked you yet). I mainly browse the site on Tapatalk and only occasionally get on the computer.

I haven't tried tapatalk myself. I do ok just browsing with my droid normally.

I think the "thanks" he was referring to was simply stating "thank you" in the post. I see his point, I try to always give thanks worded into my posts for contests and givaways. Doesn't bother me either way if folks do or don't for mine...But I try to for others as a courtesy.

Like I said, no skin off my nose to me. Thanks to you folks for entering!!

I like it a lot, great for quickly navigating.

I understand, I assumed the exclamation mark I add to my "I'm in" conveyed my excitement. I feel like a bit of a butt now lol.

Not to me bro! I've been cruising forums since they were simple bulletin boards...bare print is a poor way to communicate effectively. It's all good!

Yes it is. It needs some tlc tho...it was abused when I found it. I cleaned it up a bit, but it's far from sharp and the angles are wonky...but it's solid and has a good bit of blade left.
