View Full Version : Tornadoes in Tennessee

If you have a friend, family, or a contact in TN give em a shout to make sure they are ok. One our member's house and cars were damaged and he's still in a basement shelter unable to check his house because it's not over yet. We had 3 die the other day from tornadoes and today has been 10 times worse storm-wise from the news reports. The whole state has been effected.

Ok, here in Knoxville. Sounded like the tornadoes went to the north and to the south of us. Very active evening in East Tennessee, though! I think it's over for the most part. Hope those that live in in Western NC and SW VA are ok!

As far as I know we were spared here in Jonesborough TN. as far as I can tell. I have not been out yet. the storms were worse for us the other night. I feel so bad for those that lost loved ones, praying for them. So much devastation, they say it's the worst early storm ever in the U.S.

Gonna be another bad year I'm afraid.

Ripmyfly has had his house hit. Family were all at the farm, and everyone is safe and unharmed. He hopes to cut his way down the road to his house later this today, but looks like it has roof damage, probably water damage.

There may be other members who have not checked in yet who had damage, so lets keep them all in our prayers.

We had some bad storms and a couple tornadoes in northern AL yesterday, too. Some property damage but AFAIK no fatalities this time.
