I recently got into the geocache game. I found 3 near my home, and now I've hidden one myself. Here's the link to it:

It's in the Apache Nat Forest in SW New Mexico. Since most of you probably won't get to go look for it, here are some pics.

We parked and hiked down the canyon. The packgoats are carrying lunch and drinking water for everybody.

Very pretty canyon. Lots of cliffs and boulders. When you see this, turn around and look behind you.

See that big rock? It has a little overhang. Look under there.

Sounds like you need a smart phone. Cell phones don't work here. Someday maybe.

Very cool, and great pictures. Have wanted to try geocaching but just have not moved on it. The pack goats are awsome. Thanks for sharing.

You had me at "pack goats" Geocaching is a ton of fun! I have some coin that I need to put back into some caches still. And I have to give you props for using a santa clause tin in the desert! What did you choose for your geocache name?

I got tired of my caches being stolen. Even my tiny micro cache disappeared. It was magnetized to a steel fence in a park in our neighborhood. They took the fence down for some trail maintenance and the container disappeared. :(
