    Default Mora Bushcraft Pathfinder

We all know it's coming so I figure we should consolidate info on this new knife from Mora.

The Mora Bushcraft Pathfinder has a 6 inch, carbon-steel blade with the Bushcraft style handle and a nylon sheath. It's got a flat spine for striking a firesteel.

Not my pic. Got it from HERE . They have some more info too.

Here are a couple of ShotShow interviews where it is shown.

Yeah, once a Mora exceeds about $18 I'm no longer really interested.

    Rant on

As I said in the other thread. What makes Mora knives so great is the low cost. If they brought back the 510 or 911 that would be news. For example my 911.

It cost me 10 bucks! I noticed this change with Mora when they discontinued the 911 and made the higher cost Bushcraft line. The 10 dollar knife can do everything the Bushcraft black/force will but at 1/3rd the cost. Now they're pushing 80 and 109? I understand the reasons but putting a cat costume on a rabbit doesn't make the rabbit a cat. Bring back the 510, 911, #1/0. Bring back the thicker stock 511/546.

    Rant off

I'll be interested in seeing the price, but I bet it'll be regrettably high. It's a #223 blade in thicker stock with the DLC coating and a Bushcraft handle.

I'll take a Mora black for $38. I don't feel the extra size, and cost, is warranted with that knife layout.... At least for how Id use that Mora.

Love my 911's also. Bought 3 of them and gave one away to my son. The handle feels like it was made for my hand. I think they discontinued them because who would spend 30 or 40 dollars for one of the newer Mora's if the 911 was still available for 10 bucks.
