Man, that brings back some memories. My dad had one of those when I was a kid.

    Default Bushcraft Kit Chorus

It has been quite awhile since I posted up my last chorus of the knives in my kit.

But this last Christmas brought me a new addition, a Bark River "Aurora", to fill in the "Baritone" section of the chorus. I took it out for the first time this last Saturday and wow, can that knife sing!

So here is the update of my current kit carry, at least during this time of year in Minnesota.

    From left to right:

Singing for the "Bass" section... the Becker "BK2" (Everyone knows this famous Bassist)

For the "Baritone" section... the Bark River "Aurora" (What a smooth voice that one)

For the "Tenor" section... the very capable Mora "840 Clipper" (The one you can count on to solo when you need them)

For the "Alto" section... the wide range, multi-octave Becker "BK14" (This one seems to want to sing tenor, baritone and bass, but can handle soprano melodies with sharpness and clarity)

And finally, for the "Soprano" section... the Swiss Army "Farmer" (Now this one brings a whole lot of heart and fire to the complete ensemble)

I could listen to them sing all day. I hope some of you have had the same chance to hear them together in five part harmony or even solo. What a joy.

Blade I carry the most, doesn`t look much, but stays sharp, fits to my hand and is easy to sharpen.

Last, but not least: knife that has special place in my heart, I had it from my grand father few monts before he died. I really do`t have a heart to use it though he said: "remember to use it":
