Received my gift from my secret Santa last week. A extended Alice frame. Not sure who sent it as the name is not one I find on the forum. (just "Perry") Thanks and now I need to find out how to set it up. Thanks again.

I was very surprised to see my box come in the mail today. kcardwell sent me an amazing package of goodies, all of which will definitely have a place in my pack. The generosity on this forum never ceases to amaze me.

Included in the box were a necker/psk knife with a kydex sheath, a whistle made out of antler, a firesteel made from antler and a beautiful wooden spoon. I already tried striking the firesteel with the knife and my wife got after me for sparking it in the house

A close up of the knife

The whistle - I love the lanyard on the whistle, and was amazed with the volume it can be blown...didn't fully test it in the house, but very cool!

Thank you kcardwell! Your generosity is amazing and I feel truly blessed to have received this package from you!

Also thanks again to Crazysanman for getting this all organized. That's a lot of work that we are all benefitting from. My projects are still in the works for my recipient but they will have it before Christmas.

I received mine today, and holy cow the box is heavy! Haven't decided yet weather i can wait till Christmas or not yet, i may get impatient and post a ton of pics tomorrow.
Some times, getting out into the middle of nowhere, completely by yourself, is the only way to socialize with a better class of person.
