    great looking bows guys... i love these threads...

    here's a few of mine... i have been a trad. archer/hunter for many years.. bith my boys, my wife and my father in law all shoot as well..

    here's a cool pic. of some Ca. Bowyer Steve Abbott's bows...
    my main shooting bow was made by Steve.. he's a great guy and amazing bowyer.. mine is a shorty 58 in. 47 lb. longbow.. i love it..

    I think it has been seeing as the "Bear" logo is pretty much invisible. And I mostly use this for target shooting, don't really need a whisker-b. As for the shafts, thankfully my grandpa had a stockpile of em, prob have about 4 boxes of em.

    Whisker biscuit, no one needs a steenkin' whisker biscuit, its off the knuckle and three under for the true Archer, LOL. I swear, I'll get my stuff together and post pics of my bows, it just seems so dirty to pose them all nekked and all.

    I had a bear like this when I was in high school but, mine was solid brown. Don't know if it had been painted or what but it looked exactly like this one except color. Loved that bow, mom gave it away while I was visiting Parris Island.

    man those are some beautys. i have a 60" 50# longbow, i'd like to try my hand at making one though. any pointers

    and what's the best wood for arrow making btw?
