    great thread BST... cool pics too..

    here's a few pics i have handy... beside's these 2, i have 6 other bows... i'll have to get some better pics up soon..

    my hunting rig.... 64 in. 58# chapparal longbow, with my camalbak and my fedora...


    this is my everday shooting setup.... stump shooting, 3-D shoots and small game.... 58 in. 47# longbow made by steve abbott... loooove this bow.. it's got osage on the face of the limbs and yew on the belly, with a cocobollo riser..

    That second one is stunning Mike, would realy like something like it - I learnt to shoot a couple of years ago but still havn't taken the plundge, There is an abundance of English longbow makers over here but I havn't been able to find anyone making flat bows or shortbows - when you ask for something with an arrow rest you get a funny look

    i gave away all my "other" bows.
    the only one i use now is an older model bear super kodiak all painted up keep the "shiny bits" at a minimum.
    it is only 50 lbs @ 28".
    never had a problem zipping through big....and small whitetails.hahaha

    here is a simple pic of me taking a seat infront of a large downed tree used as a natural blind.
    i pretty much only hunt from the ground.
