Firearms Forum Posting Policy:

Because of the legal and ethical constraints surrounding firearms and their use, posters in this forum should make every effort to avoid posts describing acts or use of arms which are illegal under United States laws, or your local laws. If you are posting on a topic that is legal in your jurisdiction, but might not be elsewhere, include a statement that this is legal _where you are_.

When discussing legal requirements and rules , since many jurisdictions vary, it asked that you quote and _cite_ the actual rules or laws. This will help to prevent errors in memory from leading another member into possible legal trouble.

Firearms often bring out strong opinions. Discussion of these opinions is welcome. However, posts which appear to suggest inaccurate information or misleading theories which might confuse new shooters may be edited, moved or deleted.

Posts which lead an established thread off topic will receive a suggestion to start a new thread. Continued off topic posts will result in editing, moving or deleting the posts.
