    Default Tatonka cup lid.

I was inspired by IA Woodsman's great how to vid on his Nesters cup lid, thanks IA . So I went and bought a Tatonka cup but couldn't find a suitable can for a lid so made one out of some old aluminium .

The lid was shaped around a wooden former and the handle is a D ring covered in electric cable insulation which is held on with two copper pop rivets.

Thought I'd give it it's first fire up on a Hexy stove , had to add a couple of tent stakes , no way could I get the cup to balnace on the stove even when closed up as for canteen cups .

    Cheers,
    Pete.

    Very Good!
I have an aluminum serving tray from Goodwill setting in my workshop for just that purpose.
I really like your idea of the wire insulation.
