I hope it works out for you. Sometimes the venders just get sick of looking at you and move it down to make you go away. I love that.

I found a neat little 6 inch cast iron pan for 3.95 and a candle lantern with the candle in it for 1.95 at the thrift store this weekend. I have been wanting a small cast iron pan that I wont mind carrying in a backpack.

My youngest son picked this up at a church rummage sale . I am nearly finished with a sheath for it . He bought the knife for $2 I think and I paid $1 for the leather at a flea market .100_2112.jpg

Another great score today!
Some Belleville 950 Mountain Combat Boots in my size, NEW for $28. Cheapest I saw them online was $219. The store also had some NEW camo, not the digi stuff, medium regular for $12, shirt and pants. I also found new in package Camelback water bladder and cleaning kit, $6 each. I haven't taken pics of that yet since I'm still at work.
My town is near a military base, so gear is usually around, but not the new stuff. The guy at the thrift store said someone who regularly dumpster dives for him found all this stuff in the same place and just brought it in yesterday. I'm excited! These boots are awesome!

Well I don't usually go to thrift stores because I never luck out! Tonight I was looking for some wool or leather for a project. I found two Thermarest Ridge Rests for $2 (sell for $20 ea) that were brand new. I like to use these for winter camping to provide extra insulation on the snow. Although spruce boughs are nice, there aren't always trees!
