Well, these below are some of my last year spoons I had made. I´ve made some kuksas too but not so often.

very nice work everyone...like the way you revamped the spoon, kuksa is going to impress the lady friend I would surely think and like those last set of spoons especially where you did some work on the handle closer to the bowl. good idea.

Here are a few pics since I've started using my Kuksa. It is "staining" quite nicely. Thanks again Easy Rider.

Here is a spoon that I carved one evening. It's nothing fancy but it's a start.

Wow guys!
230 pages and still going! Keep it up!
Here's some of my more recent pieces. All done with axe, knife and curved knife.
No sanding, I either leave a tooled finish, or just a light scraping at the end... These were prior to oiling. Carved from green spalted wild plum.

Ok, here is my kuksa so far. I'm still going to add a scrimshaw deer antler insert into the top of the handle and drill out a hole for a leather lanyard. The wood is silver birch and was actually carved out of the other side of the piece this one is currently sitting on. It holds ~6oz. I went with mineral oil rather than the boil in the salt thing.
Thanks to Adahy for the inspiration, Keyser Söze for my crooked knife, and glen1100 for the deer antler.
more to come, once I teach myself how to scrimshaw.

very nice kuksa....
been trying for the perfect sugar spoon...exactly one teaspoon and fitting and scooping out of the sugar bowl just right. might have landed one in this one. still oiling it so will have to wait a day or so.
