Yesterday I spent over half the day trying to get a tang straight after it warped in heat treat. Not fun. Not fun at all.
Then I cut the scales to size, cut the pins, finished the fronts, flatted again and glued them up.
Today was all shaping and sanding. I bailed after the shop got too hot at about 3:30. This summer has sucked so far for working in the shop. But it is what it is.
Lord willing I'll be done tomorrow.
