Everything in the previous thread that was posted is a no-go except for Josh's psk over-nighter. That's a go, You can repost it here if you want Josh.
And remember, guys you know if you half assing it (pardon my language). Like my old drills used to say, if you're half assing it you're only hurting yourself. This is about training that will keep you alive or keep you out of trouble.
I reserve the right to no-go whatever looks like a no-go to me. I'm sure it will upset some but just remember that if you do earn the tab then you won't have slouches in your ranks because of the strict requirements.
So have fun and get it done!
NOW HEAR THIS: ANOTHER RULE CHANGE
Or modification, whatever you want to call it.
There will be TWO hardwoodsman tabs. One will be the plain one like I posted, the other will have a gold oak leaf beside the Hardwoodsman. The gold tab will be for Videos only. Video is the next best thing to me being there on some of these so they will be held to a higher standard. If you shoot video make sure you don't edit important parts out(like getting an ember). You can speed up the video but don't edit something out that might be important.
Also this whole thing is arbitrary and at my discretion on what gets a go and what doesn't so in that spirit there will be some guys who use still pics that I might award the gold tab to. I reserve that right. If they display all things I think are required in their pics then they will be bumped up.
Now for "the way it is" talk.
If it chaps your rear that video takes precedence over still pics, don't enter this course.
If it chaps you rear that I might bump some guys with still pics up to the gold tab, don't enter this course.
If it chaps your rear that I might no-go a video you spent all day on, don't enter this course.
Most of all, have fun, practice these skills as hardcore as you can and you'll get more than patch at the end.
That's the way it is and that is all.
