How did you find Bushcraft USA?

I was looking at some traditional camping pictures and came across some photos of one of the Montana crowds spelling roll and was immediately curious. Upon further inspection, I joined. Best decision in recent memory.

I was a member of another board that I never liked too much. There were too many paranoid campers. They had some good info every once in a while, but there was too much of a tough guy mentality there. I thought it was the only board of its kind until another member here posted a link. I found a much better group of people here!

After my Army career I wanted to keep on using and building on the skills I learned. Unfortunately, most of the sites I visited read more like an Army Field Manual for Escape and Evasion and Guerilla warfare.

BCUSA takes me back to my Boy Scout Days. I loved the stuff I learned. I've always remembered the skills and this group really helps me build on them.

I want to say thanks to the founders and to all the guys and gals that have contributed so much -- and especially for the bushclass. Iawoodsman has done a stellar job.
