Thumbs up New Oil Skin Tarp (Pic Heavy)

After a long wait my new Oil Skin Tarp arrived the other day. I got in from TentSmith who were a great bunch of guys to work with. It's a 10x10 canvas Oil Coth. Loop are spaced out every 2 feet and reinforced with an extra patch of material at the loops. There are also loops down the center seem which are sewn directly in between the seems for strength. I also picked up from them a canvas blanket roll cover for my wool blanket(s). It;s a heavy duty cover also made out of canvas.

Many thanx to Wolfden and Big Sky Trapper for their help with canvas tarps

so how much does it weigh? seems like it would be pretty heavy. i know i have an oilskin drover coat and it weighs quite a bit and it's not even insulated.

I'll be breaking it in at the meet in MO. Untill then I'll just admire it in the back yard for now. ( Now you know the reason I wanted a blanket roll and sling vid Iowa)
