    Default "Monarch Brand" Canvas Pack

Does anyone know anything about Monarch Branded canvas canoe packs? I recently picked one up at a yard sale and was trying to find some more information with no luck.
Anyway, we had a glamour shoot today during prime time hot+sticky'ness. Don't judge. Here are the pics.

    ("Roy" had it first.)

Thought these two looked good together.
Most importantly I can fit a lot of shtuff in it and I think it looks cool. So I am happy regardless.
Anyway, thanks for any info and thanks for looking!

Yup! They are the classic old canvas product of the Duluth Pack Company
I've got the same inked logo on all three of my #3's. Go to.....

well that is certainly cool! I didn't know it had anything to do with Duluth. Just liked that it looked like them. I'm not getting that link to work for me though...

Edit:Got the link to work. I wish I had a way of knowing exactly how old it is. Seems like at least 50 years old, if not more. It's in amazing shape considering it's age.

Yeah I noticed that. I've never actually had a tumpline on a pack but have been toying with the idea of adding one to this one.

Thanks I just might, marlin's in 30-30. Kind of my do-all. Close on the canoe, it's a wenonah prospector in royalex.

Which is why many say that even brand new Duluth Packs are well worth the price.
