Worked on my CS Hawk. Sanded down the metal burs and handle and sharpened.
Still have some more to do. It does fit on the handle now.

this afternoon i finished splitting up 1 of the fatwood stumps i drug home. still need to split the chunks into match sticks.
then i fired up the hobo stove and put on some water for a cup of hot chocolate.
and a little maxped love before calling it a day.

Finished the camo job on the ATV box tonight. Not sure how I like it. May tone down the lighter shades (but our woods are pretty bright, so i'll try it out first and see.) Gun rack came in yesterday. Will put them on this weekend.

Split some more firewood yesterday afternoon as the wife stacked. Then came in and made a lanyard for my ferro rod/striker and realized it was a bushclass elective so double win!
i practiced my fire starting skills in the rain yesterday with a firesteel. i couldnt get a good flame going with some cedar shavings so i made a small pile of fatwood shavings. after about 30-40 minutes i finally had flame.
this evening im gonna finish a leather sheath for my trail hawk.
Split up some fatwood that has been sitting in my garage for a year.
I received my Condor Bushlore today. Spent some time sharpening it, polishing the blade and sanding/oiling the handle. I then went out to try it out. Still not sharp enough....
Took out the longbow and headed for the woods.![]()
Driveway fire craft practice and a marshmallow roast with the kids on a very cold Georgia evening.
spent some time out yesterday. really wishing I didn't have to work next three overnights.... would love to be out side in the snow!!!!
Went on a couple mile hike yesterday. Kratos fell in a pond at the end of the day. he has never ventured out on the ice before. I was able to grab him quick.
Wrap him in a wool blanket and get him home to give him a good bath and dry him off.
