Are ya going to post the axes' finished process; handle and all?
Thanks, and yes...I will post as I go. I might do a heavy 19 inch straight handle on this one....Kind of like a jumbo "cruiser" style double bit. I dont need a long haft on my axes, because I have to sit to use them anyways.

Cutting and spliting a huge ol'redoak the wind blew over, it was already dead. Some pretty wood as I'm splitting. Thinking on making something out of. I need a few handles, maybe a few for knife handles.

Mowed 4 acres. More importantly, my girls wanted to shoot. So we did that after the mowing was done.

Not too much today. Sharpened my Mora and touched up the edge on a Hultafors.

My son and I rode our bikes down to the park outside of town, made a fire, hung in the hammock, ate some Vienna sausages, practice fire prep and using a firesteel, goofed off and had fun in the woods. Oh, I also showed him how to light punkwood to keep skeeters away.

The only thing I do this time of year is fish, and fish some more. On a non-bushy note I am make a few goalie masks.

No pics but have a new edc pocket knife, a SAK Farmer I got last week in a trade. I dug out my Gradnpas strop and proved to myself what you guys have been telling me for a while, stropping a blade makes it wicked sharp!

Like the spoon Josh.I'm still working an old camp axe head up so I can put a handle on it tough to do when you live in an apt but it fills out my evenings.
