Let's see, I cooked some fish tonight and I touched up the edge on my Svord Peasant.
You know, there is something peaceful about sharpening a knife.

no pics but am making video clips (will post if it all works out)-for the 3rd day in a row i have worked my day job and then my night job and came home to play with clay at 9pm.if you saw my last video i brought home a bunch of clay from the fossil grounds and dried it and pulverized it and added some sand and made a bunch of things that look like a 4yr old made them.tonight i am done and done in good time as i am dead tired but wanted to finish so they can dry up before this week-end so i can try to fire them oldschool in a campfire -we'll see

i find myself hiding in my workshop sharpening knives quite often lately -for me it's a nice wind down time and my knives have never been all so sharp at once -i need to get out (big trip in 9 days for 8 days)

    Default oh yeah...

I forgot I made a few flint strikers Saturday before it got hot.

    I'm a better blacksmith than a photographer.

    Night guys, jury duty tomorrow.

my daughter likes to jump up and down on her bed
so i had to whittle a piece of wood and fashion it to the rail of her bed with some glue (it belonged to her great great grandmaw)
i don't believe they make those parts anymore

Picked up a sewing machine not to long ago. Learning how to use it. Nothing special, made up three pouches out of painters tarp. Good way to practice!
