The file is compressed for easier storage/shorter download time. You need a program similar to WinZip (http://www.winzip.com/downwz.htm) to unpack it.

You will need to download the file to your computer. Then you can use a program called winrar to "unrar" the rar file. In this particular case there is a rar file inside of a rar file but inside of that there is a .pdf document.

Thanks, I have the hard copy book so it's not that important. I thought it would be nice to have an ebook version downloaded for offline use because all of my mobile gadgets have ebook reader software on them.
