Default US Navy Pea Coat. Please Help!

    Hey everybody.

I want to get a genuine surplus US Navy Pea Coat for my dad for Christmas. He had one when he was younger, and he always raves about how nice of a coat it was. he ended up giving it away to somebody (very generous of him).

It would make his Christmas if i could find him one, but, Ive scored the internet, and all i can seem to find are the mil spec knockoffs.

Does anybody know where i can find a Genuine, Issued By The Navy, US Navy Pea Coat?

any leads you may have could help make the Christmas for a great dad who has been the most supportive, and helpful father, and has sacrificed more than you know for his family.

    Merry Christmas Everyone
    John

that's an item I'd have to see in person honestly, I looked online and there are a few on eBay, that might be real. I gave like 80 for mine 20 years ago...it won't be cheap.

Yup. not cheap, but a good item to have.

For those of you with them, what is the NSN, and could you include a picture of your labels so he can see what an actual one looks like?

MATT_CHAOS on the boards has a few listed for sale in the classifieds:

You might hit him up and see if he has something for you, they're Navy issue ones reclaimed from boot camp dropouts according to the ad.

I'm a Navy Vet and have access to the Navy Exchange here in Annapolis. They are pretty pricey. Let me know if you are still looking for one and we could make arrangements.

For a genuine issued article, ebay is about the only place. I know a few stores around D/FW that might have one. What size?
