    Default Sunrise PIC thread

if this is in wrong place, please move mods.

I just made the comment in another thread that I love sunrises....and a quick search didn't turn up a thread....so I thought this might be OK.

always enjoyed Sunrises over Sunsets.... (fresh, new day, full of promise, etc...)

    here's one from my canoe:

and here's one from the starting point of a recent trip:

most of best ones (sunrises all over the world) are 'pre-digital' from my army days...
but it'd be neat to see some of YOUR PICS. (if you wanted to share. )

Sunrise is the best time of the day!
Everything is quiet, fresh, eagerly awaiting another day, but not yet spoiled by it's influences and experiences.

Of those I have seen this one is currently my favorite.

It was an unusual sunrise, the whole horizon appeared to be aflame. This was back during the BWCA fire earlier this year, I believe that had something to do with it. It's the closest I have seen a sunrise look more like a sunset.

For comparison, below is the sunset for the same day.

Stop talking about it and start doing it.

Crappy cell phone pic of the sunrise peeking trough the trees... but it was a great start to the day.
