Here's my Scout next to a DT3 (just traded for a T3 non duplex). Snapped a picture together before it mails out.

Is a Scout wide enough to mount to an Alice frame?
News from kifaru land... Xing and Loco will be 1000d (probably in response to customer input). Zippy will be 500d. All 3 new packs are scheduled to go live mid-March.

I saw the change to 1000d on the Xing the other day and was thrilled. I definitely plan to get one.

A little Mollex pron. Was wanting what I'd call a daypack-plus. Meaning, a pack for dayhikes I can carry extra large quantities of water since I hike a lot in arid regions, do overnight trips with, and be molle expandable to add a couple pockets for 3 night summer backpack trips. Pretty happy with this choice. No major complaints yet. With 25 lbs total pack weight it rides great and is very secure while running. I absolutely love the wider bottom...it fits a sleeping bag perfectly. I also added the Grab-it to carry snowshoes in the winter or, more often, to shove my jacket in as it gets warm. A Stash-it on each side of the belt for map, compass, sunscreen, camera, etc. I have a couple mid-longs due any day for the 3 day trips. I anticipate one side for a tarp and lines and the other for cooking gear and misc. junk.
Overall, very pleased so far.

Here's my brand new Express with a Grab-it. I also have a back pocket and some pullouts.
This packs rocks. It doesn't scream military like some of the others. In hoping to get a pair of long pockets and a couple stash it pockets soon.
My next pack will be a zippy for EDC use. I'm hoping I get a tailgunner or scout for hunting.
