Got a couple of Pardner 20s for around the farm, and ended up using them for everything else, too. One's set up for right-handed and the other for lefty. That's one of my biggest reasons to like them: they're dead simple and easy easy to work with as-is, though we really like the Choate Store-Arm fore arms to carry a little kit (and/or couple more rounds) and the built-in sling mount.
Here's a cool thread not getting any love lately.
These are just great woods loafing guns. Here's my 410 on a recent outing.

I also have the Deluxe Topper Model 98 20ga my dad bought new in about 1978. He used it some but usually let one of us boys carry it as he carried his old .410.
Ill take a pic later tonight i remember being 10 and hunting with my dad. I carried an old hr 410 and got my first quail pheasant n treerat with it. I was looking at this thread today and I got inspired and went out to Wally World and bought a 12ga. Now what am I going to do with this thing?
They are out there if you look a little. I bought my first one about 20 years ago at a small gun show. Our house was broken into a few years later and it was stolen. I really wanted to replace it so I ran a wanted add in a local shopper paper. Didn't expect much but an older gent called and said he had a new one tucked away in dresser drawer. It had been there 20 years and was covered in cosmoline. If I recall correctly we agreed on $90. It's my favorite.

I've already shot 1/2 a box of low brass #8 out of it. What I was trying to say is how am I going to mod it. I have a few other shotguns I hunt with but I bought this gun just for woods bumming and I kinda want to personalize it, you know making it more bushcrafty and such. One of the things that has crossed my mind is I don't think my neck can handle shooting a 12ga this light.
