$20 a good price for an ALICE pack?

Man you guys are pretty lucky. The surplus store I went to the other day wants $90 - $100 for full setup packs in fairly good condition (even with some dude's name scribbled on it with perm marker). They want $50 for just the packs without frames/straps in not so good condition. There's another store a few towns over, thinking about checking them out to see if they are more reasonable.

Close to perdido. He said its in new condition. Not sure if it is a Med or Large. Hoping it is Large so i can have one of both.

When you find one in my area the Large tend to sell cheaper than Mediums because the large requires a frame.

Good price, these days I would not pay more than $25 being old gear. In fact, just picked up a nice one (no frame) for $15.

If you get it and mod it post pics, I'd like to see a different straps set up.

Here is my pack. Did the Hellcat Mod. Also upgraded all the buckles for easier use. Paracord handle. Stuffed it full of a wool blanket and three MREs to show full size. Even rockin my original Black Hills Area Council Patch from my scout days

I haven't gotten a chance to use it yet. But hope to in a month.
