Thumbs up Model 5 z-sere thread

If you got pics you're more than welcome to put them up here. Or if you have questions about this model or just want to talk about it, that's ok too.
Mostly this will be a running thread on the knives of this model I've made for people to use as a reference for a knife they have or are looking to buy on the secondary market.
Info on the model here: http://www.turleyknives.com/apps/blo...pecialist-bolo and here http://www.turleyknives.com/apps/blo...odel-22-z-sere

5/30/11 Sere bolos x7 ¼” 5160 reverse varied grinds, serial numbered 1 through 7. Carmel linen micarta scales, steel pins**knives 1-6 went to the sere program. Serial #001 had a sheath made by me marked "beast". Serial #007 was sold to the civilian market, the paper work was noted clearly that it was not a sere graduation knife issued.****

Those look REALLY good. I went to the Turley link and was eye-balling the Mississippi Black...that is one that I like a lot.

I will be trying to make a sere only spoon next, inspired from Kerri. I think it will a good test of using a big knife for small tasks

It was my personal knife for a couple years, I loved that thing. I had to sell it recently so I re-handled it with the handle it has on it now, the old one was a little thin.
I'm glad you like it and it does my heart good to see it used so much. Thanks for the pics.
