    Thumbs up Niangua River thread

    If you got pics you're more than welcome to put them up here. Or if you have questions about this model or just want to talk about it, that's ok too.
    Mostly this will be a running thread on the knives of this model I've made for people to use as a reference for a knife they have or are looking to buy on the secondary market.

    7-26-10 Model # 24 Niangua River- 1/8" o-1, hand sanded flats,mirror finish bevels, 1/4 height convex grind, o.d. green canvas micarta scales, 1/8" nickel silver pins

    12-31-10 Model 24 Niangua River- 1/8 o-1 tool steel, height mirror polished convex grind, scale left on flats, quarter sawn oak scales, 1/8 osage orange spacers, steel pins, lanyard

    2/14/11 1/8" o-1 tool steel, satin finished flats, 1/4 height convex, mirror polished bevels, osage orange scales, thin white g10 spacers, brass pins and lanyard

    6/15/11 1/8" o-1 tool steel, 1/4 height convex grind, heat treat scale left on flats, Bethlehem olive wood scales, brass pins

    Ok, I remember that knife now. That's one of my favorites of the Nianguas. How has the wood held up on it? Any shrinking or anything.
