First off, thank you for the photo!

That must be #5. I can barely make out the thin blue liners under the green canvas scales. How do you like her? Have you had a chance to use her yet?

Yeah it's #5, I got it used this week so I haven't had a chance to get out with it yet. I think I am going to like it though. I like the woodlore style knives, but not a fan of scandi grinds so this is the ideal setup.

I too favor Woodlore style knives. I actually own a number of Ray Mears/Alan Wood Woodlore knives and a custom Woodlore from Alan as well. All are with the scandi-grind and I get along with them quite well. Of late though, I have become quite intrigued with the virtues of the convex edge. So I think I agree with you that Iz's take on a Woodlore style knife with a convex edge (aka Niangua) is the ideal set-up indeed!

If you feel inclined, I would be interested to hear your thoughts after you use her a bit.

Here is #8 pictured between a Rooklore and Backwoods woodlore. It's a sweet balanced knife and really like how it feels in the hand. She's purdy in my eyes!
