Feral swine bill in State house

quite possibly the only worthwhile bill our dummy legislature has turned out this session. It would allow county commissioners to offer a $10 bounty on each hog harvested. We don't have a huge problem in my part of the state but I know those criminals are out there somewhere!

I have 2 clients that are averaging 10-15 a week for some farmers trying to save their crops (baited cages)

I'm sure the farmers pay 'em a lot more than that....but anything anyone can do to help this problem....man, it's a good thing!

FWIW, and i know...opinions vary...but around here...we are encouraged to burn 'em. Rabid ones aren't uncommon and these aren't barnyard pigs...almost every one they've ever tested around here has been carrying some nasty biologicals....

I better get off my soapbox - I'm already on record around here on all this.
