The park mgr. is supposed to let me know where we will be this week. From personal experience there are at least a few trees in each campsite.

I don't want to lay on the ground either!

Not sure how I ever got along without a hammock!

The park is on a 10-12 mile long lake that has great fishing.

looks like im going to have to back out this time.Found out today that my son got selected for one of the state funded guided youth turkey hunts and it is that weekend. so we will be camping at Turtle creek state park and doing that he is really exited about it hopefully I will be able to make the next one I was really looking forward to meeting everyone.

I will be there for sure and look forward to meeting the bush folks. I talked to my daughter today and she said she wanted to but, kinda needs to talk to her boy friend but, would maybe but, so after the 3rd but, I said I will miss you but would take a few pictures and she could help me post them here. I should have added a but at the end but was really not trying to teach her a lesson.
I Look forward to the event. Are there any plans for activities? should I bring anything for a planned something or nother?

brother im not going to make it i got my grandfather home from the nursing home and im taking care of him and granny 24/7. i'll try to cut lose for a day but its not looking like ill make this one.

There will be a few things going on but mostly just hanging out, sharing information, working on BushCLASS, and skill building.

There will be plenty of time to relax if you want.

A member from Big Red One will be doing a class as well as my wife.

You can bring anything you like and camp how you want. No requirements. If you have a particular skill that you feel would benefit the group, then you are welcome to teach away. : )

Alright Gang,

The official campsite area will be located HERE.

That should get you there via GPS, but for those that still wing it in the dark I will be staking signs to lead the way.

I checked the forecast today and it will be cool with a couple chances of rain so be prepared for anything Ma Nature can throw at ya! Tarps, Ponchos, Jackets, etc.

I will be there early Friday and look forward to a ton o' fun!
