I'd say you got a good deal, but one question - was the thing left behind when the glaciers retreated? It looks pretty high and dry there.

At that price I think you stole it. It wouldn't go that cheap here in MN.

Ha! I didn't ask where it came from originally. I love to fish and duck hunt more than anything, so I moved to the mountains and high desert.

Actually there are a few lakes and rivers around here fairly close. I've learned where the ducks fly and the channel cats swim, and hopefully this contraption will get me a bit closer to them.

I have 3 Grumman canoes and love them all. Unfortunately I think you got ripped off.(just kidding) I have 0.00 dollars into all 3. No really for 100.00 I would have bought it and I obviously do not need another. Great canoes and almost indestructible. My wife and friends put one on the rocks last summer and by the time I arrived it was full of water and stuck sideways in the rapids. I hooked a come-a-long to it and about ripped it in half to get it out. Cost 150.00 to weld and it is as good as new.

You did good. I have a 19 ft square back and i love it. I use a 5hp motor on it or slip on a trolling motor. Works great.

Woods, the guy I bought it from was an older man. Now I sorta feel bad. Next step is knocking down old ladies at the grocery store and stealing their purses. When will it end?!?

    Murph (not the Surf)
