I picked up a Forge Craft at a flea market for .50 cents awhile back. I use it in the kitchen everyday. That thing is surgical sharp and stays that way! My wife refuses to use it because it's so sharp! Nice score Saxon!

Just about the same as far as quality and usefulness. I have one of those and an Old Hick that are both getting modes and will be posted. One will be a convex and the other will be a chisel edge due to the straight sides of it's blade all the way down.

I've found more of the Hi-Carbon Forgecraft knives at the thrift stores than I have Old Hickory and my experience is that they mod just fine! I done several and would love to find that kind of score a few times.
