Vintage online ax sources?
I was wondering what are some other online websites to find old axes to restore besides eBay? I am currently looking for a true temper Kelly works flint edge 5 or 6 pound double bit ax to complete my flint edge double bit ax collection but eBay isn't helping much, so I was wondering if someone knew some other sites to find one on... Any ideas?
i'd like to know too... i've looked, but haven't had any luck. you would think that there are more sources online...
5-6 'pounder', thats a hell of an axe! i did see a 5lb kelly perfect SB awhile back...
Craigslist has been a good source to find old tools for me. It's also a good place to find out about estate sales, which are good sources for old tools in general.
Check out antique shops, even if you don't find one right away, it is fun to look and see what else shows up.

I see a lot of them at swap meets and flea markets.
Remember guys I live in southern Louisiana, old axes like the one I'm looking for aren't common here like other places.
Check etsy, I have gotten a few there.
