I already can make 3 different paracord bracelet patterens but theres more to learn.
That sounds like a plan. I hope it goes well for you!

It'll be fun to explore, won't it! It'll be fun to check out what's around your new place!

I still hike in the summer. Sure it is hot but there is nobody else out so I get some quiet time.

Spring is the most miserable time of the year for me. Re-acclimating to warm desert weather is a nightmare for a born-and-bred northwoodsman. It's been 80+ the last 3 days and I've been waist-deep in glacial meltoff all weekend with a flyrod in hand. Next weekend I plan to run Grimes Creek in my whitewater kayak. Should keep me cool and outside.

Yeah, even though we will be in the 40/50 lows tonight it will be hot enough soon. I'll be reworking my hiking hammock gear. Gathering up some presents for the kids at our big Hammock Hang in Jan. Making a knife from the steel left over after shortening a machete. Another sheath for the machete and a sheath for the new knife. Reorganizing my prep gear in case we get a hurricane this summer. Possibly mod a couple of Old HIC's. Might even drag the canoe out for a couple of day trips. Retired so need to keep my days full.

I'm starting to think I might go to ONF for a weekend If I can manage to get me a 4x4 to go with and not do a lot of hiking. The bugs are also a big problem in the summer. I might change my mind if I can get a new/used 4x4. I have to go through a trustee to get get the money for it. I want a Toyota FJ Cruiser. Tuesday I go talk to my Finacial Adviser. If I can get one I'm going to want to go play with it, so I might go for a trip once or twice for a week end.
