    Default Sap Running?

    I tried tapping a Silver Maple yesterday for the first time and got nothing. I'm in northeast OH. Is the season past already or do I need to try again?

    Season is past. My buddy in northern Wisconsin said it was a lousy season. It was due to the strange weather. Had very little to show for his effort.

    Seems we had 2-4 Blackberry winters and 3-4 dogwood winters down here in TN. Hard to tell what season it is sometimes down here lol
