Merrell shoes review

well let me start by saying that in the last 22 years that i am self reliant-work and buy myself whatever i need or like i had many many brands of shoes , < that being said this is a review for the brand Merrell , and i have to say that i got a pair for the last 7 years and i used them hard, on rocks fishing, mud, sand, grass,snow, frozen ground, bicycle... they were wet for 2-3 days in a row -on my feet and they staid waterproof and my feet were a little damp not wet , because i have the black leather ones and when they got wet the leather die soaked in my socks and in my skin -it did that when they were newer , after many many washes in the laundry machine they lost the die power , i changed many insoles , so i got wise and only buy now brown leather, all in all i just cant seem to wear them out , the soles are worn but they still strong on the grip ,
here some pics of the old and the newer -of course i will only buy Merrell brand shoes from now on for me and as gifts

-also please, this is a review thread in the reviews forum , i'm not claiming this brand is the best nor i am affiliated with them -its just an honest review of a product that works good

I'm on my second pair of merrel's now. I had a pair of reflex low that just wore out from 09. And I got a pair of mid reflex that I am wearing now since last year July. Wear them every day right through winter.

I love them to. On my second pair in 6 years. The only problem I've had is with the rubber toe starting to seperate but thats an easy fix with superglue.

if you wash them don't dry them in the dryer on hot setting , put them next to the AC vent

I never wash them. I hose em off, let em air dry, then hit em with some "rain n stain" guard.

I have 3 pair. I like them. I just hand washed a pair of boots with a brush, rinsed them out and set them over the heater vent to air dry slowly. Good as new. They are lightweight and treat my flat feet great.

I've abused a pair of Merrill Moab Ventilators for about 3 years now, and I'm very happy with them.

I wear Merrells currently. Pretty happy with them. I wouldn't call the ones I have waterproof, even though they are supposed to be, but definitely highly water resistant. I find them comfortable and have put them through some extensive mileage. The ones I have are not leather and probably aren't appropriate for winter hiking though I have used mine in the winter.
