    For things I don't use as much, I would put them in straws. But things like salt, pepper, Mrs. Dash, etc.? I use a lot of it, so I use small 1 oz. containers for them.

    Good idea with the straws. I bet u could melt the ends over to seal it.

    2. pepper
    3. "stew" herb mix (thyme, rosemary, bay) for cooking red meat
    4. herbes de provence for the birds/reptiles/amphibians
    5. "baking" spice mix (cinnamon, nutmeg, clove, allspice)

    I carry these in 2 Liter preforms, they hold approx 3 oz.

    Garlic Powder
    Tabasco
    Soy Sauce
    Maple Syrup
    Dried Cayenne Pepper seeds
    Onion Powder (occasionally)

    Brown Sugar/Dehydrated milk
    Sesame seed oil (not for cooking, it is an Asian seasoning)

    I store it all in a GSI spice bullet. Also, I never leave home without a small container of honey because I'm a tea drinker when out in the woods.
