Just purchased this never used ML 10" Camp Knife on the secondary market. I know it's not a traditional "Hudson Bay" model, but more like an "amped up" version

    Pics are from Matt's website:

We are getting ready to start on a Hudson bay knife(as soon as the steel gets here 1/4" 5160) Brass bolsters and brass washers in the handle if everything goes ok.

Nothin fancy like some of the others featured in this thread, but I'm a fan. Pictures courtesy of my buddy who is holding all my stuff and receiving my orders while I remain overseas.

I got the bug when I saw condor's version, but my wife informed me that it's not in the budget, so I started making one. I have walnut, mahogany or antler to choose from for the scales. The steel is an old ferriers rasp. Still needs to be heat treated, but it's getting there.

Mac, you do realize that now you NEED a genuine Hudson Bay wool blanket.
