    Default Rechargeable cr123a's mah capacity?

I have been looking to save money by switching to rechargeable batteries for my torch but having trouble finding a rechargeable with a matching mah rating.
Most cr123a's have a minimum of 1300mah, some upto 1800mah. But the highest mah for rechargeables seems to be around 900mah.

I don't want to reduce my light time by this much if i can avoid it.
So does anyone know what the highest rating is for these and where to find them.

If i have no other choice i'll probably end up getting at least 4, so any rechargeable multipack offers you know of would come in handy too.

I don't know the power level of these but I want to buy some for my Surefire I use around the house all the time. I'll use the regular batteries for when I go out in the woods and will use these for around the house. http://www.surefire.com/batteries/sf...arger-kit.html

It doesn't give the mah on those but does say it only offers half the time.

The guys over at CandlePower forums would probably be able to give you some better choices. I've posted up a couple questions in there before and received a generous and overwhelming response.

I'm not worried about the mah since I'm just going to use those for around the house. Same reason I'm not worried about the run time being in half. It does say that those rechargeables are only for LED flashlights.

But be careful because most Rcr123 or 16350 are 3.7v which may be too much for your application. You didnt mention what Torch you're using.

Amen to that. I am a long time CPF participant who admittedly is a flashaholic.

I strongly recommend "protected" RCR123s. Suggest batteries by AW. Can get these from several places such as www lighthound.com. Moreover, get a decent charger and monitor battery charging diligently.

I use the rechargeable lithium 18650 in most of my o'light flashlights that take 2 x cr123 works great and last long time! Always check with manufacturer though...

The rechargeables run at a slightly higher voltage which can be problem for some lights. Check with the manufacturer first.
