    Default 1st attempt Camp Pipe

    Greetings all....
    I've seen many camp/ branch smoking pipes on BCUSA so I thought I'd try my hand at crafting one myself last night....I still need to do a little work on it but this is what I got so far....the wood is Red Alder.

    Looks cool. Do you have to bore out the stem? If so, how do you do that?

    Nice!
    that alder will probably smoke sweet.
    I like to use alder in the smoker for pork and fowl.

    How do you create the stem? Meaning how do you hollow out the stem?
