    I bet all three have a pithy stem. dry some out and give it a go!!

    finished it up tonight...here's the end result. The stem was carved and sanded perfectly to pressure fit in the bowl too!
    Thanks again to SkogKniv for the tip on boring out the center of the stem...it worked great! N-joy....

    JimBow.... that looks fantastic! I just made one a couple of days ago from Maple. I'll try to post up a pic here, but I managed to post it up in the Pipe Makers group just in case.

    Go up to the top of the page. Click on "Community" and select "Groups" from the drop down menu. Voila!
