    Look into tooling leather books by Al Stohlman. What he doesn't cover (as they say) you don't need to know. But there's always more to learn. Tandy usually has his books as well as some libraries or bookstores. And, a lot of what you'll see in his books was done by his wife. I'd like to know what she's forgotten.

    Very nice! I was thinking of making one myself and i really like how the basket weave turned out. Do you just leave the leather with the dye or do you use anything afterwards like beeswax, neetsfoot oil, or leather sheen? I just started leather crafting (as in just started this past weekend) and I still have a lot to learn. Thanks!
